Board of Directors
The Centre In The Square is governed by a 14-member board, which includes the mayor, three City of Kitchener councillors, and eight citizens appointed by Kitchener City Council. Board members can be appointed for two, three year consecutive terms after which they must leave the board for one year before applying for re-appointment.
Everyone is welcome to apply for a position on The Centre's board. Positions are advertised in the paper, by the City of Kitchener, as they become available.
The CEO, who heads The Centre's work force, reports directly to the board. Under the CEO are approximately 20 full-time staff and as many as 150 part-time employees (receptionists, ushers, box office staff and stage crew).
